10.14.2023 – 1st Korean Hair Salon Experience

South Korea's Hair Salon is to die for!!! I had a 10/10 experience with the stylist I chose and the result did not disappoint. It's my first time getting a perm and Korean side bangs and OMG...I'm in love. But the downside is, you have to maintain your hair consistently (which I can). The place that I went to had a really nice retro theme, they gave complimentary drinks as well as a personal care bag that had chargers, sanitizing wipes, mask, etc that we could use while you got your hair done. If you get a perm, they definitely also give you a good hair wash and scalp massage. The stylist I had, had her own hair care products that really helped with the perm after treatment so my hair did not look damaged at all. After my hair appointment, I went out with my cousin to eat and hung around Hongdae which was really fun since it was so long since I saw them and it was a coincidence that they were in Hongdae. We went to visit a Harry Potter Cafe (drinks were meh) and then went to eat pork intestine BBQ and then we went to Coconot Box (pop-up store with BTS Jimin). In the end, we went to a photo booth store to commemorate the happy memories made today.
