09.22.2023 – Dorm Housewarming Party

Today was a Thursday, after my 3 p.m. class I went back to the dorm because there was a housewarming event for International students living in SK Global. This felt very welcoming and interactive because I was able to participate in Korean Cultural activities such as Tuho, Jaegichagi, and Archery; In addition to participation, for each activity you complete you can receive free Korean food like tteokbokki and soup w/rice cake and you can receive a free gift depending what your spin lands on. Around 6 p.m., there was a talent show for international students to show off dance moves, singing, instrumental talents, and more. What made the talent show special was that the dorm coordinators organized the top three prizes for students which incentivized and promoted more marketing (the talent show was bomb, especially the students' support for others by cheering and singing along).
