09.16.2023 – Rainy Weather Horror

This day was the worst and heaviest rain that anyone from Hawaii can experience. On the weather app which expected a 90% chance of rain for the day, was actually only 90% rain during the night. Me and my friends first went to Blackpink's Pop-up store near Hongik University and the weather was just cloudy. Later on, when we got near Hongdae's shopping and food street, there was a little bit of drizzles here and there. But as the night was passing, and we were planning to walk back to Hongik Station to return to the dorms, it started pouring heavily. The floor was flooded, everywhere was packed, it felt sticky, my shoes were wet (glad I didn't wear my dunks....lol), and even worse, my umbrella was leaking. Basically, the whole bottom half of my clothes and shoes was wet. My recommendation: buy a better umbrella and/or wear boots or high-top shoes. Also, me and my friends picked up Baskin Robin's along the way....😂.
